Oct. 27 class canceled

Our Oct. 27 meeting for JRL490 is canceled. I apologize for not being able to attend; I have a business trip in NYC that day and won’t be back in time.

Please note that we will have a quiz on chapters 5-10 on Nov. 3. We’ll play ‘Pyramid’ and review those chapters in class before the quiz. Presentations for those chapters are in the right rail of this blog. (I still have to upload chapters 8-10.)

Second issue of the magazine is published Nov. 10. Please email to me your unique story idea. Remember, one story is analysis of a debate that you watched with friends; another story is about Election Night experience, which will have to wait until Nov. 4.

I will be emailing to each of you the critiques and grades for issue 1 in the coming days.
